£2 will buy a cup of tea and a biscuit for a member at an activity

£20 will pay for a personal assistant for 1 hour at an Inclusion Group

£200 will fill the minibuses with diesel for a week of transport

£2000 will cover charity overheads for 1 month so we have a safe and secure space for our members

£20,000 will support an annual salary for a member of staff

There are lots of ways that you can raise funds for AVSED. Community support is essential and important to help us keep working and helping the most vulnerable within Aireborough.

AVSED is part of the Leeds Neighbourhood Network Scheme –
one of 37 organisations covering Leeds which support older people to live independently and be part of their community. We are part funded by Leeds City Council to provide this service.

Other funding comes from a range of streams – charitable grants make up a large part of our income and help support our staff team. We have received grants in the past from various funders including The National Lottery, Leeds Community Foundation and Frank Parkinson’s Trust. We generate some income to support the groups and services by charging a nominal fee for groups and
transport and the rest of our income is from general fundraising.

We hold regular fundraising events throughout the year including our annual Christmas Fair, May Day raffle, biennial sponsored event, and our Prize Bingo club.

Cash, cheque, card or online through PayPal, or set up a standing order to make regular donations.

For the benefit of AVSED: you
can leave us a gift in your Will.

In lieu of flowers at a funeral.

For any donations you make, if you pay tax we can claim Gift Aid (25p per £1) if we have a completed Gift Aid Form from you. Download one here and bring it into the office or email it to us.
